Clekt Team Day 2025: Celebrating Five Years and Looking Ahead to Clekt 2.0

On Monday, 12th May 2025, the entire Clektive came together at Mallory Court Hotel and Spa for an annual Team Day. The occasion was twofold: a chance to share the vision, strategy, and plans for the financial year ahead, and a proud celebration of its five-year anniversary.

The day began with heartfelt opening words from Clekt’s CEO, Andy Tudor who shared his personal reflections on five years since Clekt’s inception in 2020. Andy took the team on a journey that traced Clekt’s roots — from an idea born on a boat in Bristol Harbour to becoming a fast-growing, boutique Snowflake data consultancy – despite the company’s early struggles (more specifically, launching just one week after the UK entered its first national lockdown due to COVID-19).

Ultimately, those lessons shaped the next chapter of the Clekt story — a strategic pivot from a product focus to service delivery that redefined the business. Recognising a clear market demand, Clekt transitioned to a consultancy and services model, aligning with Snowflake’s revolutionary cloud data platform.

This shift proved transformative. Over the past two years, Clekt has:

• Built a deep partnership with Snowflake’s EMEA team
• Invested in internal talent, earning Snowflake Select Partner status and doubling down on engineering capability and certifications.
• Launched a consultancy function, appointing leadership and structuring the team to support clients in extracting maximum value from their data.

Remote yet Connected
Clekt’s decision to be an entirely remote team is intentional, as it allows to hire the best quality talent regardless of the location of the candidate. However, this way of working doesn’t come without challenges. An interactive workshop delivered by Remote & Human brought the team together to identify areas of friction and opportunities to make improvements with impact. Our goal is to make Clekt the very best place to work and so we found the session to be invaluable in listening to feedback and spot ways to improve communication.

With a clear strategy and growing momentum, Clekt is setting bold ambitions for the next three years, however one thing hasn’t changed. With strong alignment and shared excitement about the road ahead, the Team Day served as a powerful reminder of what’s possible when people come together with a common goal.
