About the Role
This role will be sat within Clekt’s Solution consulting function. Working across a range of Clekt’s strategic clients and supporting the delivery of data projects and initiatives for those clients. Experience of analysing, owning, and presenting Business / Data requirements across the following types of projects:
- Operational data processes
- Schema to Schema Mapping to enable system migration.
- MI / BI Report requirements and production of specifications.
- Data warehouse migration
- ETL processing / Data mapping and pipelines.
- Experience of Travel Environment would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead analysis activities across a range of Clekt clients, working remotely and on-site.
- Engagement with Business stakeholders across a range of Clekt Clients, to clearly articulate the requirements and generate specifications from a data perspective for the Clekt consultant engineers. An ability to analyse data from various sources and client engagement to support data pipeline specifications.
- Lead in the development and documentation of Business / Data requirements in various formats to support the Client and Clekt to achieve efficient focused delivery of requirements.
- Support in the population of Business Glossary and management of curation processes for Clekt clients as required.
- Work as liaison for business and data requirements and partner with the Client and the Clekt engineering teams
- Plan and facilitate workshops sessions and contribute ideas for data-driven solutions both remotely and on-site
- Ensure data and solution specifications are kept up to date and agreed across client and Clekt project teams.
- Advocates value generation for the customer to enable them to achieve their goals and objectives
Key Skills & Experience
- Experience – 5 years minimum experience, in a business / data analyst role experience of working in a commercial / consulting environment would be ideal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in tools and techniques to articulate customer and business journeys across a business
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of defining requirements / user stories for data warehouse and data transformation initiatives.
- Proficient in JIRA / Confluence / Asana / Miro
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with business and data analysis principles and practices
- Experience of working in a consultancy / commercial environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Can work within SCRUM Agile delivery methodology.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Can lead discovery sessions and workshops with the client to identify data and business requirements and need and support in the discovery and cataloguing of data and requirements
- A range of analytical and requirement approaches and can tailor approach to client requirements.
- Adaptable to the work situation and environment presented with a track record of delivery.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- SAF(e) certification or experience.
- Lean / Six Sigma experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL / Python to support technical data discovery and supporting data and systems analysis.
- Experience of managing and defining a business glossary
- Knowledge of Snowflake Data platform would be beneficial
- Knowledge of Data Management practices or DMBOK certification would be beneficial
